Services
Refuges
We can provide you with refuge accommodation or help with accessing temporary accommodation if you need a safe place to stay. Fife women's Aid have 44 refuge spaces: fully furnished flats, houses or self contained flats in a communal building. These are situated at various locations across Fife. Some of the flats have been specially adapted to accommodate people with disabilities.
Most of the flats/houses are single occupancy (you don't have to share) and a few are shared accommodation (you would share with another woman or family).
In shared accommodation you and your children have a room to yourself and would share living room, kitchen and bathroom facilities. We will try to offer what best suits your needs. Refuge is offered to both single women and women with dependent children.
- All refuges are furnished to a high standard
- Fully equipped with bedding, kitchen, TV etc.
- You will receive a pack containing basic foods and toiletries when coming into refuge
Women's Aid has refuges throughout Britain - if you feel Fife is not safe then we will try and organise somewhere else for you to go.
